After Completing His Post Graduation In Ophthalmology In 1992 From Governemnt Medical College & Hospital, Patiala, He Did Fellowship / Trainings From Sankara Nethralaya (Chennai), Dr. Rajendra Praad Centre For Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS (New Delhi) And Tennent Institute Of Ophthalmology, Glasgow (UK). He Gained Vast Experience In Dealing With The Most Complex Eye Disease Including Advanced Vitreo Retinal Surgeries During These Trainings. He Specializes In Management Of Vitreo-Retinal Diseases & Glaucoma In Addition To Being A Prolific Phaco Surgeon.
He Worked For 17 Years In Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana In Various Capacities And Decided To Leave The Job Of Professor Of Ophthalmology In July, 2012 To Start Advanced Centre For Eyes, Ludhiana. He Is Vice – President Of Punjab Ophthalmological Society
